Karori Dining Room

The idea behind this renovation was to orientate the setting around the wonderful centrepiece rug.

The rug works to highlight the new timber floor and bring the elements of the room together. This enabled contemporary items to sit comfortably within the classic contours of the space. The modern chairs next to the velvet drapes, for example.

On completion, this room felt spacious, yet rich with detail.
