Karori Kitchen

This kitchen is all about bringing together a number of elements to make a successful whole. Against the simple white cabinetry, we placed brass handles and kitchen mixer, timber range hood and shelves, and vertical finger mosaic tiles. The end result is a kitchen that is practical, with a depth of design that elevates the space.

The layout is a result of removing an existing laundry and taking advantage of the walls to create an overall flow. It also allows us to designate areas for special use. This includes the drinks station, which is seamlessly embedded in the kitchen.

This kitchen is the first stage of a design process that will capture the whole house over time.
